Everyone's heard the saying "less is more." Sometime I would agree. However, when it comes to dressing oneself, less is less.
Whenever I go out, I have the uncontrollable urge to yell "that is NOT a dress" to about half of the 15-21 year old girls I see. It's not really their fault. After all, stores like forever21 tell them this is a dress...
I would have to disagree... when you have to cross your legs to avoid showing your lady parts, you should be wearing pants. Why do people WANT to leave the house looking like a cheap hooker? It is not hot, and let me tell you why.
I was watching the Steelers kill the jets recently, and the men I was watching the game with started discussing something they call the "slice of heaven". Observe:
The tiny area of skin between the boots and dress: the slice of heaven. While I wouldn't call this outfit classy, it does leave something to the imagination. However, Faith is currently rocking this:
during the Sunday Night Football opening. This is not a slice of heaven. This is a buffet, a gluttony, too much of a good thing. And this is not coming from me. This is coming from the men I was watching with.
The lesson to be learned here: a little mystery is sexy. People may want to sleep with you if you look like a baby french prostitute, but that's because you look easy, not because you look hot.
